I visited this facility The rooms, the facility, the faculty are all in disrepair. The nurses, most don't know what they are doing, and management does not care, sounds like a cliche. Residents are treated terribly with the exception of a few, and that's because they can speak up for themselves and even then some get so much disrespect it's unbelievable, probably like they'd hope this review to be seen as, unbelievable. I am/was a resident of this facility The room is very under par, they were never cleaned unless I demanded it done. The walks were bare nothing but a small tv with very small selection of channels. .. My bed did not work and was a rental. Was not replaced until the day before my discharge. The nursing staff was very under trained on wound care. I had to instruct most of them how to care for my wound. The supplies i need for my wound care was always in short supply. I am/was a resident of this facility 3 people crammed in 240 square foot (all with wheelchairs and walkers) bumping into each other and beds daily. Interrupted sleep and help or call lights on for hours often. Food is not always cooked mostly rice and pasta but a few times meat also. Served outdated milk curdled and moldy bread. Most nurses & CNAs great but they dont have enough stable help. Therapy is great but many patients get discharged too soon and digress. Need more therapy.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. After seeing my friend's care, and observing how others were cared for, I actually ended up making a state report. Currently being investigated. I'm also a CNA, and the things I observed were shocking and sickening. I witnessed patients being left soiled for entire shifts. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I cannot stress enough how horrible our experience was at Villa Park Ridge. Our loved one went in alert, oriented and stable for physical therapy to increase her mobility. 2 weeks later we had to have her admitted to ICU with severe c-diff, dehydration, unable to swallow, almost comatose and had to be intubated to breath and a nasal gastric tube inserted for feeding. If you leave any compassion at all for your family member, you will steer clear of this place.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I am writing this pertaining to the death of my brother who contracted Covid 19 at the facility. My problem is with the corporate staff there. I was not informed of his entering the hospital until 2 days after admission. When I contacted the Villas about his death I was told "we didn't have to contact you, it's not our responsibility". I have called the Villas on 2 other occasions and one email about his personal effects and was told both times they would contact me back. ... read more
