This place is going downhill FAST!! Security has always been lacking here, but it’s completely nonexistent at this point. Jerks hot-ridding up and down Village Market Blvd., bored teenagers looking for trouble to get into, graffiti on the walls of the parking garage, people doing drug deals, smoking dope and getting drunk in the parking garages, and the new thing? Shooting up cars with BB guns. Police and in-house security personnel are never seen, so there are no consequences to fear. Come at your own risk.
Maybe instead of giving the residents (that were probably your only customers in the early days of the lockdown) parking tickets, you should reallocate some of your resources to making the area safer. The parking garages have become the hotspot in town for young people to have sex in their cars, use and sell drugs and alcohol, drive like maniacs (their exhaust sound is amplified by the garage), and just generally raise hell. Fountain, Firepit, Sprinkler broken most of the time!
Went to the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ. The place was easy to find, and the parking around the event area was perfect. The event itself was "ok". Lots of beer and bourbons to try. Where was the BBQ? Maybe 4 vendors tops. 😐
It was just so warm out. I felt bad for the people doing their sculptures. I thought there would be more participants. Overall it was enjoyable.
Extremely difficult to plan a visit if you have a special needs child who thrives on routine. Village security changes traffic patterns on a whim with no warning on signs or website. Mall security extremely unsympathetic to special needs children.
