Was in town and wanted to see Michael. Easy to purchase last minute tickets at the door. Well went the establishment and hopped on the elevator. Upon entering the 2nd floor was a concession stand, colored brightly like Miami Vice era.. we were greeted by an attendant before walking the hallway to the theater rooms. This cute lil theater existing is a miracle. Not the most perfect experience but always feel good supporting an Indie. The ticket taker is so funny and sweet and this theater has the comfiest reclining chairs ever!
I used to come to this theater years ago, so it was interesting seeing it now under a new name with completely updated interiors. You purchase tickets at the kiosk when you enter, then head upstairs to the theaters. The decor is very minimal with a mid-century modern feel in both the furniture and color palette. this is the greatest movie theater I've ever been to! I love the West Village area and the comfy seats. Also, they have craft beer on tap and the Chicago dog is delicious!
Came to a listening party for Pernell's new album. We got to see a documentary of the making of the album in theater 5! It was so nice that there was a free parking garage in walking distance. The escalator was broken but thankfully there was an elevator for our friend that can't do stairs. The seats were amazing as they reclined well. They make gourmet hot dogs! I love it. Kitchen closes around 9, be sure to ask about it! And use their popcorn seasonings before you watch a movie.
Caught a movie here last weekend and had a good time. Seats were comfortable and the sound was great. Popcorn was pretty good too .
We were in town and decided to give them a try. The food (craw fingers, oysters, lamb skewers) was very delicious and flavorful. Really nice vibes and inviting atmosphere. Great customer service. Parking is iffy.
