Hey so just wanted to shoot you a warning about Vita Brevis. Me, my baby and my wife “won” one of their sweepstakes thing and had a horrible experience. Everyone who applies for it will “win” unfortunately. The photo shoot and everything was awesome and they were very professional. However after the shoot they take you to a dark viewing room to look at all of your pictures. They will pressure you into buying 20 thousand dollars worth of pictures and frames and such. I won a portrait session with this company. I could not receive my prize because I needed to put down a $250 deposit. I was told I would have to forfeit my prize. This is elitism at its finest. This company is a bunch of scammers that only works with wealthy. Do not use them!!
This studio is using all sorts of bait and switch/social pressure to build their business. Be prepared if you come in as a “winner” of one of their “contests.” Their business practice appears to be: * Advertise a “contest” for a free portrait. * Everyone who enters wins - us and our friends who entered said contest all “won.” * Get you into the studio, take a bunch of photos. * Try to upsell you - in my case, they tried to hook us on a $1k package after getting us in for a “free portrait.” * They pressure you to make d... read more
As someone who just recently entered a "contest" from this place and "won"..... please be aware of their reviews on Google (and prob other places online I'm sure). We luckily read their reviews last night, before going for our photo session today and knew some of their tactics. We were really bummed to find out the reviews were spot on. My cousin talked me into getting a pet portrait done with my dog because she “won” a free session. (everyone wins) After the session They take you into a slide show room to show you the pictures and build a lot of rapport while show them to you. At the end they will smile and say for a package of 5 pictures it was $5000. 5 PICTURES!!! You cant even pay for just the media file thats another outrageous cost.
