RecommendedDr. Woods does all he can to make sure my Callie is comfortable and has quality of life. She is 17 years plus and before her Dr. Woods took care of Mayan, then Suki followed by Chelsea. I pray he never retires as I don't know where I would go. He is the best as far as I am concerned.
RecommendedI have taken all my dogs to Dr. Wood for the past 25 years. He's the BEST...very caring and thorough when searching for what is wrong with my pups. He takes his time and explains everything clearly when there has been complex diagnosis and I feel he is as concerned with my babies as much as I am! He answers any questions I have with patience and detail. I will ALWAYS recommend Northwood and Dr. Wood!!

RecommendedI am an overprotective paw-parent. Blue is my only fur baby. He is 13yo. Dr. Woods and team take extra special care of him. Just today he had to have little dental work so they took care of all of his vitals, annual exam and shots, nail trim, and hair maintenance. They called me right when he was ready for pick up. They carried him about to great me and said he so sweet. And if you my dog that is not always true. So thank you and 5 stars
We've been going to Dr. Wood for over 40 years, whenever possible. We spent 30 years in the army, moving often and interacting with many different veterinarians during that time. It's been wonderful to be retired in San Antonio and to be able to rely of Dr. Wood's compassionate and experienced care.
Been taking my pets to Dr. Wood my whole life. I wouldn't trust anyone else in the care of my pets. He is always kind.
Ever since my daschund was attacked by a pit bull and dr wood and his staff saved her life, that's the only place I trust with my babies. They even gave her a nickname. Frankenweinie. Her stitches around her neck made her look like frankenweinie. I lost my son recently in a motorcycle accident and they worked with me to get my dogs teeth taken care of. They are a godsend.
My Lady dog has always received the very best care with Dr Wood and the staff friendly and caring. One time during the last 7 years I took Lady to another vet and I truly could not say the same for the care she received there. My thanks to Dr Wood and staff!
We love Dr. Wood and his team. My animals and I have been coming here since 1980.
We returned to San Antonio after a four year absence. We don't have the dog from that time, but aquired a stray cat. Northwood is our first choice! The staff really cares about our pets and provide compassionate care in a SUPER CLEAN environment. A little more expensive than the pet-mills around town. But the level of expertise and consistent care are worth every penny.
