I had been the customer of Vonage for 10 yrs now. Having Vonage extension is very convenient and can make international calls while traveling.
Unlike others have mentioned the app works great on WiFi calls. Initially there was glitch but after it was sorted I am able to make international WiFi calls and save valuable minutes. Get the settings right and the app will work just the way you want it!!!!
I love it. It perfectly fits my need. We stay at some cabins that have wifi but no cell service. Great for out going calls. It would be helpful if it received incoming calls. I have hopes for future updates.
Glad to have this app available for my iPhone when I found myself in west Houston with spotty cell phone coverage. I was able to jump on a couple of conference calls via Wi-Fi without any worry of being dropped. Just another reason why Vonage gets my business over the competition! Excellent layout of features in the app. Setup was simple and only tool 2 minutes. Thank you Vonage for being there, you saved me in a jam!
The phone calls are fair, especially from a deployed location. If you don't have wi-fi you cant use it. The MWR is a good spot to get on. Sometimes the call has a delay, you will have to wait 5-10 seconds for your loved one to hear what you said and get a response back. I have had 3 calls drop out of 10. It is a very frustrating feeling to be deployed and have phone calls drop or delays. Fair Quality App and I hope Vonage can make improvements.
Works as advertised
Been using the app for a month now and I'm able to make calls without any issues. I do get some minor buffing issues but overall very satisfied.
Does what it is supposed to do but probably can be improved.
Mostly good clean data or wi-fi connections. Sometimes chatter and you have to redial. Convenience of your home Vonage in your hand on the cell phone. And calls go over 3G/4G networks saving previous cell minutes.
