At my semiannual appointment today, after taking x-rays, my hygienist gently and thoroughly cleaned and polished my teeth. Dr. Prettyman then examined my teeth and my x-rays. The x-rays revealed some problems for my dentist to fix: 1. Cavity that needs fillings on 2 surfaces. 2. Cracked crown that needs replacing. 3. Loose crown on a 15-year-old dental implant.
