Wekiva Falls is a premiere RV Resort and Campgrounds destination ideally located in beautiful Sorrento, Florida between Daytona Beach and Orlando. Before Walt Disney came to the area in the 1970s, Orlando was a sleepy town with an economy based on citrus and cattle. Since then, Orlando has blossomed into one of our nations most sought-after destinations. That’s why the founders of the resort decided to build Wekiva Falls right up the road, in Sorrento, Florida. The founders wanted to be close enough to all the attractions an... read more

Sadly we were very disappointed after our stay at Wekiva Falls over Labor Day weekend. After pulling in we quickly learned that this place was not pretty by any means. Some long timers do not take care of their sites and you are surrounded by them the entire time. Our site was filled with red ant piles everywhere you walked. I came home with 32 ant bites on my right foot from the stay. The springs had a horrible odor of sulfur. I thought I could handle it but after gagging several times we had to move away from it. The clie... read more
Wanted to leavea review since this was our first time staying here and if your like me I always read reviews before staying somewhere. With that being said I heard “new owners/new management” A LOT throughout our 5 day stay. We booked our site months ago and they were very helpful in helping us choose two sites right beside each other which turned out to be a great choice, when we arrived we found out that they escort you to your site which we thought was rather odd when we heard however our escort “Walter” was very friendly... read more
Smell from sulfur in river running through property was awful. .. sewer like smell. Cable & cell reception were too weak to use. Had to carry your own garbage to FRONT of park ... for all 500+ sites.
Disappointed... we had been looking forward to our first family camping experience for a while, then Irma hit... we are Floridian and we understand hurricane damage. However, we appreciate honesty and accountability. The staff assured us that the oval waterslide area would be up and running when we checked a week before our stay ( we rented a camper and could have made other plans). Unfortunately the word "definitely" has different meanings to different people. The hardest part was having our kids see the water slides and te... read more
We love love wekiva falls and the rv life BUT the owners are ruthless uncaring people! Many RVers were not able to pay lot rent during the hurricane due to prep, electric and water outage for 10 days. When we got power back and went to pay the owner was the most ruthless uncaring person I have ever dealt with! The government gives help with FEMA but this man happily charged everyone a late fee and reconnect fee! No grace no compassion. It is people like this that bring the bad in people out. I wish the owner would be more ki... read more
