With the current Covid-19 policies which are in place throughout the state, we felt WFVH did a wonderful job ensuring our safety and the safety of their employees while still providing outstanding care of our dog.
This year during the COVID -19 Pandemic the staff at West Frederick Veterinary Hospital made our dog Charlie's annual wellness visit very easy and safe! I applaud their strategy to both prevent disease transmission and at the same time provide the same awesome compassionate medical care that has become their gold standard. Dr. Hennings followed the exam with an old fashioned friendly phone call since we could not talk in person during the exam. Charlie gives them a five bark salute!!!!!
The staff is great, very kind, helpful and professional. I feel really comfortable bringing my dogs there.

I have been a client of this hospital for over 25 years. When Dr. DiMaria retired, I worried about what I would do for care. I have always had positive encounters with Dr. Hennings and assumed that I would move to her clientele. When I was out of town, one of my dogs had an emergency, which prompted my sitter to bring him into WFVH and for first available veterinarian. Dr. Hahn was that person. Great vibe from this vet! Techs are friendly and not rude and uncaring like most vets offices! Dr Rizzo is amazing, caring, and makes me feel that I can trust her with my pets health. Truly a great experience.
