I saw Dr Malik to have some of my old silver fillings replaced w/ the new white composite fillings. My silver fillings were 30 years old and were getting worn but had never had a serious issue with any of them. I thought I would be proactive and get them replaced before they became a serious problem. Dr Malik told me the composite fillings were better as they bond to the tooth better than silver fillings.
