I take my dog & cats here. My dog is on meds for seizures. They charge me 70$ for her meds when Walmart fills them for 12.38. Also they made me come back in and see the vet again for something we had already talked about. & EVERY SINGLE TIME I call to get them to call Walmart to fill her meds. It doesn’t matter which Walmart. They hardly ever do it until I harass them about it or they tell me their number must have changed Bc they can’t get ahold of them but yet I call to check a couple times & get an answer EVERY time. I've been taking my dogs to Westridge to see Dr. Murray and Dr. Burns for years. Several years ago when I had my Italian Greyhound, Dr. Murray was amazing when she got sick and I had to have her put down. Now with the 3 I currently have Huni (pug/chihuahua mix), Jojo (dachshund), and Chunk Norris (pit) they are still the best. Chunk Norris loves seeing Dr. Burns!!! Everyone in the office takes great care of our babies!! I'll never take them anywhere else.
THEY COULD TRAIN THEIR EMPLOYEES NO TO SUCK!
I was told that my animal could not receive the medical attention it so desperately needed because the on call vet would not see any animal that had not been seen there before despite the fact that I had taken other animals there in the past. I'm not sure why that mattered when a life was hanging in the balance. I will not be taken any other animals back to this place nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

We are so sorry for the issues you encountered. Westridge rotates with three other clinics in our on-call responsibilities. To our knowledge, none of these clinics have this kind of policy in place, although all have the policy that payment is required when services are rendered. The worst veteran I know let your dog set there needing surgery for 2 days and die would not recommend to anyone
At one time we loved Dr. Murray ,but he hired a veterinarian (I can't remember his name.... he's in the picture on this site) who in my opinion has no compassion and is not good with animals. We found a starving ,emaciated pit bull who had ,had a chain around his neck for so long that it had carved whelps and deep wounds. We removed the chain ,feed him, and loved him, but he was so far gone. We took him there and asked for euthanasia (while crying profusely). The "vet" said "We don't kill for convenience!" Very costly...went here for almost 10 years and my dog was scared to death of this place...always recommending some costly procedure that needs to be done. (Every appointment)
This place sucks! First time I went there to get a stray cat fixed they told me that they did an ultrasound and she was due within a week and she could not get fixed I said okay and took her to my house. She did NOT have the kittens until 3 weeks later NOT a week. The second and last time was today when I scheduled an appointment to have a vaccination done for a kitten. I waited 45 MINUTES before I WALKED OUT. I had an appointment and showed up on time.... so I expect to be seen in a timely manner 😡. Just like you expect me... read more
