Everything was delicious. Comfortable homey place. I loved the fish and chips but a little chintzy on the amount. Only 4 small pieces. Hamburger delicious.
We split the California Benedict with smoked salmon and a plate of 4 market vegetables (we chose cauliflower, eggplant, mushrooms, artichokes). Everything was delicious! We especially loved the “potato mash patty” which was the base of the Benedict. All the flavours complimented each other perfectly. Really nice, laid back place, with reasonable pricing. Staff was very nice and friendly.
This is a great place if you’re dining with people with different dietary needs. Vegan? Check. Carnivore? Yep. GF? They have those options, too. The price points for NYC are excellent, too - entrees range from mid teens to mid twenties, and the serving size isn’t skimpy. My friend had the fish and chips and LOVED them. I had a vegetable plate, where I could choose 4 veggies (including tofu if you’re looking for more protein) out of at least a dozen options. Came to Westville for the first time, had a meeting in the area and went for lunch. Enjoyed the grilled chicken with roasted eggplant and tahini, and cauliflower with tahini. The tahini sauce was just perfect. I would definitely return and recommend Westville!
