Westville is a great choice for healthy, consistently good food at reasonable prices. This one on Hudson Street takes reservations and there is ample space between tables for comfortable conversation. Unfortunately, our first server was terrible and never checked back when our order was delivered incorrectly. Appreciate the help of the server who finally stepped in to help us. Love the salmon, arugula salad and turkey burgers here! Everything on the menu is very tasty!
The portions here are huge for all reasonable prices. We ordered two appetizer-like bites for $8 each, then couldn't even order our entrees because of the size. Overall just a nice find. I was happy because I was able to eat vegan options while my date who is not vegan was able to order anything as well. Vegan/Vegetarian friendly is always a plus!
The food was good, particularly the French fries (possibly the best in NYC?). The service was not great, but also not terrible. We'll be back for sure.
Always a solid experience. Was seated easily with a reservation, food came out quick, and service was timely.
Great veggies!
Food was pretty mediocre, not sure why there are such high reviews on yelp and other venues. Wide variety for vegetarian options but not as good as something like Dig Inn.
This is a solid, informal restaurant with a diverse menu that includes a broad vegetarian offering. It's also a good value. It is not the cozy, Greenwich Village spot offered by numerous venues less than a half-mile away. It has more of a cafeteria vibe.
Not a good idea to bring kids here for dinner. We were seated near the door and bar with our two elementary school aged kids and it was far too loud for conversation. Food was ok, nothing special.
Nice place. Eating outside on the sidewalk is very pleasant and quiet--it's not a noisy or heavily trafficked location. Inside it's noisy and busy at peak times. Youngish crowd; I'm not but still feel comfortable. The vegetables are a marvel, great variety, perfectly cooked--you choose what comes with the protein, or there's a 4-veggie plate, your choice from maybe twenty different. Wine list is short and to the point, good selections.
