Excellent food and service as always. Because it is a busy brunch time, it can get a bit hectic but the noise level is not a factor when conversing during the busiest times. The vibe here is very friendly and accomodating

Westville is a good brunch option on the upper west side. There are several good menu choices and the prices are reasonable. It gets very crowded and noisy, and we had to wait a bit even with a reservation. The French toast, and California Benedict were good options. They don’t have brewed decaf, which was a bit of a surprise.

Great food. The chicken noodle soup was excellent!
Understand that I give “outstanding” reading proportional to what Westville is aiming at. It is an unpretentious but delicious casual family restaurant, and it succeeds completely. The food is fresh and tasty and interesting, the vegetarian options are manifold, the service is friendly, and the price is reasonable. Maybe some people will think it’s not enough for an upper west side restaurant, because its roots are downtown in funkier neighborhoods; too bad for them. PS we miss the little dive on 18th St.
