This is our go to for Solvang, the service is always excellent. Bring back the pork chop!! And I think jalapeños poppers would be a great addition
Whiskey N Rye serves BBQ / grilled dishes. The salmon was delicious although a little too much salt given it is served with capers. Others enjoyed the brisket and burgers. Juicy and flavorful. The chicken was a little dry. Service was fantastic and we were seated promptly at our reservation time. Inside seating got fairly noisy. Going to try outside seating with heaters next time.
I was Celebrating my birthday there and it was a great experience. The food was PHENOMENAL and the nice complimentary cake at the end made be feel very specia. I will definitely return as soon as possible. I loved everything about my the restaurant. The cocktail was delicious too! I love the option of having happy hour prices so that it didn't break the bank and I know that I am able to afford to come back.
They were super nice and very friendly! The cornbread was good! And we also had the brisket fries which were very yummy! They are happy to accommodate any requests for change or alterations. They then also had home made cookies $2 for each and when I ask for them to be cooked more than normal they were happy to make sure they got it right.
It was good. Not overwhelming. Drinks could have been better
I go to Solvang quite often, never been to this place and I will definitely be going back! Great atmosphere great food! highly recommend the fried pickles!
