I had PRK rather than LASIK since I participate in martial arts, which came up during the intake procedure. PRK doesn't have the flap, so it takes longer to heal, longer to reach fully corrected eyesight, and the first night was rather uncomfortable. The pain mostly stopped the next day by my first followup, and the light sensitivity went away after a couple of days. I'm 4 weeks out from my procedure, and my vision is getting better everyday. I had PRK done in july, not gunna lie after the procedure was over it was painful, but the outcome is definitely worth it!
Staff was awesome! Very thorough during consult and pre procedure. Dr. Whiting was excellent! Talks you through the whole thing and was very quick. I would recommend Whiting clinic to everyone. Incredible to wake up the next morning and no longer need vision correction�����
