I went to Dr. Burke for hip replacement surgery in October after a year of pain and inability to be my active self. From the moment I awoke from surgery my hip pain was gone!! Dr. Burke takes the surgery preparation very seriously and makes sure that anything that can be done to prevent infection or a negative outcome is addressed well prior to surgery. Each office visit with Dr Burke and his staff before surgery was informative and reassuring. In addition, all of my calls with questions were responded to quickly. His attentiveness in the hospital was also reassuring. And I appreciate that he urges his patients post op to get up and be active, to do PT right away outside of your home....and to park in regular parking spaces (not handicap) and walk. I would and will recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Burke is an excellent and skilled surgeon. He takes the time to explain his treatment recommendations and answers all questions. I left his office confident I was in safe hands. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. Both pre and post-operatively Dr. Burke and his staff demonstrated a strong work ethic. They were thorough, respectful and communicated with follow-up calls. I was very impressed and pleased with my experience and the great result from my surgery!
I highly recommend Dr. Burke and his team including Jeanette and Danielle. Dr. Burke is a brilliant and masterful surgeon. Twelve years ago I selected him for my left hip replacement after I conducted a national search for a technically proficient surgeon utilizing the anterior approach. I want to thank Dr. Burke and his entire staff for their professionalism, knowledge and caring nature . I was in constant, terrible pain, always walking with a limp and living on pain medication. After having my initial consultation, I was put at ease and felt extremely comfortable on moving forward with double anterior hip replacement. I researched many Surgeons to do my hip replacement. 30 days after surgery I walked down the aisle and danced all night. He is the BEST!
I saw Dr Burke approx 12 year ago and knew then that he would be the one to eventually replace my hip. Being an engineer myself I really liked the idea that Dr Burke was a biomedical engineer before continuing on to get his medical degree. This engineering background seemed like a logical advantage for someone doing joint replacements over other doctors. We'll its been almost two years now on my new hip and have nothing but the best to say about Dr Burke and his staff including excellent PA's.
Dr Burke and every single person on his team were like a "well oiled machine". My hip replacement was an incredibly positive experience. Everyone was very informative and I received a follow up phone call each week just to check in . All my questions were always patiently explained . The staff at Florida Medical Center were amazing as well- like an orchestration.
Dr. Burke's professionalism & Exceptional skill has exceeded my expectations. I did a lot of research trying to find a surgeon I could feel totally comfortable with & confident in. I finally found that in Dr. Burke and his entire staff. Jeanette, his Physician's Surgical Assistant is amazing. They are all in a class of their own way up at the top.
