Mother in law had surgery by Dr. L 20 years ago with tremendous success. She has recently had pain which could not be diagnosed by anyone on her Medicare Advantage Plan. So we went back to Dr. L after 20 years and he discovered the problem in about 5 minutes. The existing "cup" at that time made of a poly material, had worm in a verticle pattern and the ball was shifting up and down with every movement. Excellent office. Doctor himself called instead of delegating it to his staff. Felt like he really paid attention to my case and feelings
My mother went to Dr. Leone for several reasons. 1) She knows 2 people that have had surgery from him and were very pleased 2) her internist in Hollywood said if Dr. Leone can't fix it then nobody can 3) She also heard that people who have had a bad result from other doctors go to him and he really tells you what is going on (these are called revisions)and 4) after meeting him and having a great experience at his office we knew we had to choose him. I can't say enough about Dr. Leone and his staff. My hip surgery went great, and I had a pain free recovery. I owe this to Dr. Leone's skills. Not only is he a skilled surgeon, but a very caring doctor. I highly recommend him.
Discovered a faulty hip replacement from 12 yrs ago.Replaced hip in April and both knees in Aug. 2007. I am now pain free and no more limp.
Would recommend without reservation. I am very happy with the results of my two hip replacements.
Dr Leone seems to be "the man" in the field of hip replacements. Prior to seeing him, it seemed that everyone I would meet no matter where I was, had the procedure done by Dr. Leone. He is a very busy doctor and his time seems busy but he does his best. The first meeting, I felt he lacked bedside manner. Perhaps that is a truism. However it is my understanding that elderly women love him. I am not elderly. Since I didn't opt for the surgery immediately, I was not invited to attend a meeting re: the surgery. Worst doctor who completely botched my surgery according to Dr. Rosen of Orlando Orthopedics. Stay far away from him!
My name is Terry McEnaey and I had Hip revision Surgery by Dr. Leone in August of 2014. From the moment I got off the operating table I knew something was very wrong. This was my third hip replacement after eight years and the other two were done well. I have since, six moths later had the other hip done by another surgeon and it is perfect.
