Having recently had a heart attack and spending a week in the hospital, I realized my heating oil would be low. Wanting to be sure of heat in this cold and rainy weather and considering my physical condition I called Williams to see when my next delivery would be. The operator told me it would be two weeks and considering my post operative scheduling, I was concerned about the amount of oil and the weather. We are very satisfied customers of ******************** Coal and Oil. As part of their services, they also have electricians and plumbers available. We recently required a plumber and an electrician, and both appointments were made quickly. The technicians that came out were professional, skilled, and very helpful. Both household repairs/issues were resolved promptly. We have appreciated our interactions with Williams for furnace, oil, electricity and plumbing needs.

I ordered, and paid in advance, for $600 in oil for my home. In July they call me wanting $143.91. Why, because the driver filled my tank with 200 gallons of oil. That is not what I ordered. Should I have to pay for this over fill made by the driver? I paid for the amount I wanted before they would deliver it. And they were late. I had to put 10 gallons of diesel fuel in my tank to make sure I didn't run out over the weekend.

FRAUD. THEY CHARGED 500 DOLLARS FOR 10MIN OF WORK. THEY ALSO -ILLEGALLY- USED MY CREDIT CARD INFO I GAVE THEM A YEAR AGO...TO CHARGE ME....WITHOUT PERMISSION. AND...OF COURSE....THEY NEVER TOLD ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST BEFORE BEGINNING THE WORK. I AM ESCALATING THIS....PLEASE STAY AWAY.

I had them do a quick plumbing job for me and while the job was completed well I was charged far more than I expected. Be sure you understand the pricing structure they use before having them do work because they don't itemize their bills, at least for plumbing. They have task-specific pricing that they charge people regardless of the man hours, and when pressed they will not tell you what they actually charged for parts vs labor.

I made a request of the company to come to my home to fix components of my boiler. These components were outlined in my request for repair as they were identified by a plumber. Williams Energy came to my home, they looked at the parts that needed repair and refused the job stating my boiler was too far gone. They fixed nothing! The company then billed me an outrageous fee for coming to my home and refusing the job. This was the single worst customer experience I have ever had. -Beware

The service contract is a trap - Customer service is poor because there is apparently only person who has the ability to hear your complaint - You will have almost impossible reaching Mr W**** - They charged me a service that never existed on two different occasions, upon reaching the only person who look at my complaint, he pretended not to know who I was - Upon calling on a different day , he could not be reached - He said to me that I had cleaning on my furnace but that never happened - My furnace is cleaned by another th... read more
