Once I was called back to begin the process of being seen by the doctor every thing went great. The staff is excellent and Dr Pickens is the best. The issue: I arrived early as asked at 1028. My appointment was at 1050am. Other patients came in after me and were called back before me. I was called backed away 1120am. From arriving to being called back was 8 minutes shy of an hour. Today was a routine visit but also a follow up from when I had to be seen for a detached retina two months ago. Wilmington Eye’s quick response to my emergency and referral has my eyesight coming back to normal. As usual the visit was quick and professional.
I'm very pleased w/everyone that I've had experience with so far, in dealing w/my cataract surgery and follow ups. I had a 1 week follow up yesterday at the Southport location and I had a couple of questions and Dr. Travis was very thorough in explaining everything to me.....I really appreciate that! Everyone is so nice and very caring!
We were on vacation and needed immediate eye care. Wilmington Eye near Southport was very responsive to our needs. Excellent service by Mary Hoffman, highly recommend.
Online registration and check-in processes were worst I have ever seen - duplicative, time consuming and certainly not user friendly. Best score I can give there is D. In-office experience was generally good. Tech took me back on time, but it was 45 minutes after appointment time before I met with the doc.
