<p>Initially, this company was our number one choice based on the reviews from Angie's List. Unfortunately for them, they dropped the ball with getting us a timely quote. Their sales rep was nice and polite but did not follow up with his own quote dept. and we had to follow up with them to ensure we got the quote. The quote took 2 weeks. We are repeat customers of Olson Windows/Doors. They previously installed Pella replacement windows and doors in our home approximately 15 years ago. They are not the lowest cost estimate that we received, but we considered our own peace of mind to be worth the price based on our prior experience with the company.

They stated that my order was too small and they said couldn't help me. The lady on the phone was short with me and told me I would need 4 total windows to be replaced. I would suggest that in their profile they notate that they can't help people unless it is above a specific dollar amount. I have a total of 28 windows in my home that at some point may have needed replacement. At this time, I would not consider using them in the future.

We had 2 failed windows on our first floor. We searched for months to find high quality wood replacements, trying to arrange for a sliding double wide door that was no longer operating properly to be replced at the same time. In the preceding months, we had reps from Anderson and Pella also provide pricing, financing options, and actual window options. Unfortunately, my low review is based on the communication/customer service by Olson and the timeliness of completing the project. We signed the contract with Olson on May 20th, 2014 and, at the time of writing this review, are still waiting for the project to be completed. Zero confirmation or time frame was provided once the contact was signed. The installers arrived without any prior notice and I needed to alter my schedule at the last minute. We have been waiting 3 weeks for a painter, provided by Olson, to paint the ins... read more

This brutally cold winter caused our sliding glass door in our family room to shatter and crack. I contacted Olsen and they came out the next day to look at the door and provide suggestions for a replacement. Dave came to our home to provide suggestions and a quote. Because of the urgency of the project, we didn't really price shop around but have heard from friends after the fact that their prices are high.
