I was a patient for over 15 years until my last annual exam. When my appointment was confirmed they told me to bring all of my questions that my doctor set aside extra time to discuss. My annual exam has a zero co-pay but after discussing my concerns( that I was invited to chat about,) they billed me for an entire office visit without disclosing that I would be billed extra!
