The first trip we took to WWL was a few months after it opened on a weekend. Some things to note: 1. Ditch the stroller! If you have a baby/toddler I suggest using a carrier. We took my 1yrld cousin and she just wanted to walk everywhere anyways. It was VERY crouded and dark with somewhat narrow pathways. There are elevators for use, but they were confusing to navigate with no signs. 2. There is no exit once you begin the aquarium or, at least none that you can see. Everyone follows the same path (this I didnt like and stil... read more
It could easily take a whole weekend to explore the whole museum! Excellent aquarium!! SCUBA in the shark cage was amazing. Very knowledgeable and safety minded staff truly made our visit such a great experience..our group will be going back again!!
This was an incredible experience for us and our eight year old grrandaughter. Everything is so well planned and flowed so well. Exhibits are absolutely breathtaking. We look forward to going back to share the experience with other family members.
Our organization, Young Outdoorsmen United, booked a field experience for 20 youth ages 7-13 thru the education department. We must confess, the entire adventure was incredible. We arrived at the main entrance where e were treated to a special parking zone to unload 2 buses and was greeted by staff members Misty Mitchell, Angel Cook, and others. These ladies took wonderful care of our kids, bus drivers, and chaperones. We were permitted to enter the complex an hour and a half before anyone else was admitted. We lite... read more
I never know if I should read and believe reviews or places like this that are for tourists. But we decided to give this place a shot over the aquarium in Branson which was closer to where we were staying. I am so glad we did! This place was AMAZING. It says average time is 2 hours for just the aquarium- It took us 4 and we could have probably spent more time there!! We went on a Wednesday at 1pm. I loved how you have to go in one direction. It helped keep the flow of traffic moving. I did read some reviews that said the lig... read more
I thought the mammals were too confined. They need more space .
Ok here we go. It's an amazing place. Very well done. A tremendous amount of work was put into this place. If you have problems walking, you might think twice. It takes a long time to get through it. Both the wildlife stuff and the aquarium takes a long time to walk through. Not a lot of places to stop and sit down. But there are some. Once you start you are in and not easy to turn back if need be. If you like a lot of stuffed animals, you will absolutely love it. I found the aquarium area to be a little more fascinating.
