My daughters ages 19 & 6 and I visited yesterday. We have been to the aquarium in Chicago and Atlanta and this one is better than both of them in my opinion. I loved all of the interactive things for kids, the stingrays and horse shoe crab touching displays were a big hit with all of us. My 6 year old loved all the crawl spaces to get ‘inside’ the tanks. My husband and I have been to some of the largest aquariums around the US and found this to be a very nice addition for Mo. A few notable issues were the lighting, we understand it was dark in some areas for the ambiance, but it made it very difficult to see some of the exhibits. We also noticed lack of labels and descriptions, especially in the sea shell display. We felt the staff needed to be trained about the displays, we asked a staff member about how large one of the aquariums was and the response was "I have no idea".... read more
Beautiful facility. Several WOW moments. I have been to tons of zoos and aquariums and this one had at least three displays i had never seen before.
