It is a wonderful museum and aquarium! The attention to detail and the amount of displays and configuration of each area is no doubt one of the reasons it took so long (15+ years) to open But was absolutely worth while! Breathe taking and awe-inspiring! Loved the areas of the aquarium that are interactive for children! Will visit several more times!
My 4yr old and I had our date there! We LOVED It! At first I thought it was expensive but it was well worth it. The animal exhibit is better than it used to be. The aquarium was beautiful!!! The kids coloring their own fish and having it scanned and swimming was a brilliant idea! I'm bringing my hubby this weekend!
Overall Loved the aquarium and know they are still working on some things. Richard was working the shipwreck reef area, Thursday 10/05, He was amazing. He talked to everyone who came into that area and explained what they were looking at. We had 3 toddlers and he held all of their attention. Loved all the benches throughout. Plenty of place to sit and enjoy. No need to rush through. Like the kiosks to tell you more about what you were looking at. Excellent experience for the whole family!! The attention to detail throughout the entire museum and aquarium is impressive & second to none. We’ve traveled all over the US & Wonders of Wildlife Museum & Aquarium is the best we’ve seen so far!
I don’t have enough words to say how wonderful this place is. The aquarium is amazing. So much hidden in one building. So appreciative of having a place like this in Springfield.
