We went to both the aquarium and wilderness museum yesterday (4 hours wasn't even enough) and absolutely loved it!! The attention to detail in the wilderness museum was so impressive! And the aquarium was phenomenal!! There is so much to see. Our 10 year old loved getting "in" the aquarium's bubble pop ups. There were plenty of benches and seating to rest. Our only complaint was lack of labeling and informational plaques. I'd love to read and learn more. Hopefully that will be added, but we are planning to buy a membership :... read more
Incredible! The aquarium exceeded our expectations... what a wonderful resource here in the Midwest.
The displays in the wildlife section were very well done and appeared lifelike even though not alive. The lighting and varying levels kept my interest peaked and provided a nice atmosphere. Very educational. The aquarium was very nice and comparable to others I️ have visited. Enjoyed seeing live bears. The jellyfish and the school of circling fish were my favorite displays.
Best place ever. My 3 year old granddaughter learns something new each time we go. She has so many favorites. Love, love this place.
It is amazing and beautiful, highly recommend! My one complaint is that we bought the family membership. Two adults and children and grandchildren under the age of 18. I have a 24 year old autistic son who's about 8 to 10 years old mentally. They refuse to include him as one of my underage children. He is on disability and he lives with me and is my dependent. I really think they should make accommodations for special needs people such as this.
