Beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed. Easy to walk into town with lots of interesting dining options. Great continental breakfast featuring items from a local bakery.r
Our room was beautiful and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Hey Terri,It was such a pleasure to welcome you to Zelda Dearest and showcase all that sets us apart here in Asheville!Until next time!
Gorgeous!!!!
Perfection! Thank you to Lark Hospitality for giving these properties new life. The restoration is flawless and the rooms are gorgeous. The location is perfect - adjacent to the South Slope and just downhill from the heart of downtown Asheville. These magnificent homes could have easily been torn down to make room for condos or a modern hotel. Instead, they’ve been preserved and renewed for travelers to enjoy. Breakfast was easy, fast and delicious, parking was FREE, and the staff was super friendly. 10 out of 10. No notes!!... read more

Hi Elizabeth,Flawless is what we love to hear! We were gratified to play a role in restoring new life into some of Asheville's iconic buildings, and we're glad you loved our location here in the heart of town.Thank you for joining us for breakfast, and we love hearing that our team gets a 10 out of 10! We have noted your feedback and couldn't agree more that Asheville should be for everyone. Come back to see us again soon!
Zelda Dearest is my favorite place to stay in Asheville. The hotel is actually 3 renovated historic homes side by side. The rooms are distinct, large and very comfortable. The bathrooms are large as well. There are lots of attention to detail in regards to the decor paying homage to Zelda, with copies of her paintings and artwork. Despite being in downtown, it is always very quiet.
Love this boutique hotel. Charming and lots of details. Comfortable beds, cozy large rooms. Spacious bathrooms. Hotel is actually 3 historic houses next to one another so rooms feel intimate. In downtown but super quiet. My favorite place to stay in Asheville.
Great experience. No complaints.
I liked the decor, location, and tge overall concept.
