Does what I need it to! It works great! It gets stuck sometimes but it gets the whole pool, even the walls!EDIT: I’ve had this thing for quite some time now and it gets stuck on the step all the time. It still does a good job at cleaning the pool but it does get stuck a lot.
Should have purchased earlier We tried to put off buying a new cleaner, but finally had to get one. We tried the cleaner without a hose at first, but sent it back. The one works GREAT. doesn't get suck anywhere. Cleans the whole pool!
Works but Works as it should but if the filter gets to high of pressure (20 or over). It stops working. I suggest a leaf catcher with a good filter bag. May require several filter cleanings if the pool is very dirty or heavy bottom crud.

gets stuck by stairs If you're looking for a vac that GETS STUCK on stair corners ALMOST EVERY TIME..congratulations! You've found it! If not, be prepared to go to the pool frequently to free it up. this is my 3rd one and I keep hoping the new gen will have solved that problem..but no.. seriously i think they've made no changes to this vac in years. the one good thing about this is it's far cheaper than the ones with wheels and flappers.
Not as good as I had hoped It’s ok .. but for the price I expected a lot more suction . Works ok. But I think I could have gotten a cheaper model that does the same ..
Saves me a lot of manual work My zodiac G3 does a pretty good job overall. I found that if I adjust the suction so that it cleans all the way up to the waterline, it also pulls my retro pool light out of its niche, and has done this several times already. If I reduce the suction enough to keep the pool light where it belongs, then I get a green ring around the upper part of the pool wall and have to brush it. I have contacted both the zodiac and light companies for suggestions to resolve this and still don't have a solution.... read more
