Simple but very effective pool cleaner Tried other wheeled robots, and track driven cleaners. This cleaner gets into the corners, and climbs the walls. Small debri passes through and does not stop the cleaner like the other robots, and tracked cleaners.

Much better than Hayward Navigator XL After a fair amount of research I bought the Baracuda G3 to replace my old Hayward Navigator XL. This was actually my second Navigator and between the two of them they did a reasonably good job for the past eight or so years. I decided to try something else, however, because the Hayward units required frequent repair and they were never much good at sweeping the sides of my pool. If someone posted a negative review about this product it is because they forgot or failed to READ THE DIRECTIONS. Installation was very simple. Nice for the price See my comments on the twister hose rotator. If you can't direct the returns this product tends to get stuck in the same pattern. It does an ok job, but expect to do some touch-up after cleaning is finished.

Does an EXCELLENT job Does an amazing job. Better than my original navigator. I purchased this as a replacement for my navigator. The price was half so I thought I would give it a try because it had good reviews. I have a kidney shaped pool with steps. My original navigator did not clean the steps or sides of my pool so I would have to do those manually. This gets EVERYTHING. my pool is spotless. I live in the dessert.
