You have to keep an eye on it as it will occasionally get stuck or certain things can get stuck in the blades. One thing I found out after owning it for a while was the hoses will break. I don't know if it was from leaving them out in the sun, but I am now having to replace most of the hose pieces. Love this little guy Love this little guy. I have a 15,000 sq foot bean shaped pool and this unit is just about the right size for it (probably would have needed the MX8 if the pool was any bigger. Interlocking hoses seem to be ok, no air being sucked in and not disconnecting. Set up was pretty straight forward although I did find a youtube video that explained things better than the instructions. Unit itself seems well built and the tracks have no problems navigating around the pool floor and walls.

It's working great for our ~15,000 gallon concrete pool I've been quite pleasantly surprised with this little guy --- has really been doing a good job for us in the two months since purchase. I had previously used the navigator brand and also various iterations of the kreepy krauley-style cleaner. The navigator works great but required routine replacement parts and served as a great source of frustration for me. The kreepy krauley style ones work okay too (but they make a lot of noise as they pound their way around the botto... read more
