Great purchase This works excellent
Not good for leaves We had this model pool vacuum that we bought two years ago. It was okay- not the best not the worst- but OK for the money. two years is as long as these stupid vacuums last, so I bought it again. However this second one does not suck up leaves very well at all. And why does someone have a vacuum if it’s not to suck up leaves? I’m very frustrated, I will have to search for a vacuum that is actually good at getting leaves. The leaves get stuck in the wheel in the bottom. Don’t waste your $.

Love this little robot! I have a 30-year old pool with pop-up heads. From the start, the pop-ups were merely adequate. When I resurfaced the pool from fiberglass to pebble-tec a few years ago, they were pretty much worthless. I had to spend a lot of time manually brushing/vacuuming the pool. Works Great and I have a leaf problem! I had a few of the disk zodiacs previously and didn't like the thumping noise. I have a real problem with leaves and have the leaf canister also, would suggest using it in unison with this. I do not have a pool cage. I replaced last month the rubber tracks and I think the hose should last longer, I'm here purchasing 2 pieces of lock twist hose and of course the warranty up in one year and I have it for 13 months (the hoses look new still but have split). Great Pool Cleaner if properly maintained. MX6 is one of the Best suction side pool cleaner along with the zodiac G3 IMO. All suction side pool cleaners can have issues. Setup is important and expectations. I prefer the MX6 because it doesn't rub on the pool and has a fan that kicks up all the smallest particles. If you have a lot of palm type leaves or long stringy grass it will get caught around the internal components though it is easier to clean out than most. Finally, a suction side cleaner that doesn't get stuck! Works wonderfully with variable speed pump and saves huge on KW's while cleaning well.
Works well for the price This is not a product I am able to throw into a dirty pool and come back later to a clean pool. It does not suck up and leafs, pine needles, or small pebbles. If any of those things are sucked up the vacuum gets jammed and I must unplug and remove the stuck object. So, it’s great if you only have dirt or sand in your pool. Otherwise you’ll be cleaning you pool before plugging in the vacuum. Overall good for simple vacuuming. Assembly is easy.
This thing is amazing. We had our frist MX6 for 5 years r 5 years. We run our vacuum 8 hours a day. This is my second one frist one lasted 5 years. Had to rebuild it 2 time's in 5 years. And replace the houses a few time's. We don't cover our pool runs 8 hours a day. Look no further it's amazing and this is a great price and received it in 24 hours
