Great product. Works as expected
Ron I started with issues and then Berry Adam stepped to the plate. Berry knocked it out of the park with followup, and now my cleaner is performing. Performing as the pool cleaner that Zodiac would be proud to associate their name with. BERRY THANK YOU!!!!
Works with help This Baracuda does pretty much what i expected. It works really well for the first week after cleaning my filters. By the second week, it still works but not as good. It also has trouble covering my entire pool bottom surface. It's a big help but I still have to manually vacuum about every three weeks or so, better than every week. Bottom line, its a big help but don't expect to never have to vacuum manually...My next purchase will have to be an upgrade but this is a good starter.
Not as good as T-3 It works well, but has shortcomings. It gets stuck in corners etc. too easily. The old T-3 had a larger diameter ring at the top to keep it from haning up. I think also a larger foot pad. The old design actually worked better in my pool. I have to check periodically to see if it is hung in a corner or even on the place where its own hose attaches at the side of the pool.
Baracuda T5 Well I love this thing. It works, it's easy to work on and replace parts are easy to find. My Hayward cleaner was ALWAYS needing parts. New shoes, new pads, etc. I felt like I had children. Worst case scenario its pretty cheep as far as these things go to just buy a new one. I mean if you are looking for something to clean your pool like you would if you were out there cleaning it all day, knock your self out. It has done a great job for me I am thrilled!
Amazing unit This is my second Baracuda unit that I've owned and it is amazing at how great it functions. It hits all areas of my pool and doesn't get hung up, and I love how it climbs the walls.
Tolerable This unit and twist lock hose works great as long as my duct tape connections to the leaf canister and wall intake don't come loose! Zodiac needs to make a twist lock connector large capacity leaf canister and a secure connection for the wall intake and this product will be great. Until then, buy something with a normal hose! (If I could return this for a Kreepy Krawly with a normal hose I would!)
