5.0 out of 5 stars replacement after 20 years I have had a leaf catcher in my bottom suction pipe for over 20yrs. It is now suffering from chemical exposure and starting to disintegrate and this is a straight replacement. Same model. I do feel the cost of £88 for what is no more than a plastic milk jug to be over the top, but it appears that swimming pool items are priced like that. The profit margins must be astronomical.

This submerges below the water line and works great. Not a large holding container so if you have big leaves and debre it doesn't hold a lot. But for me, no leaves it works great. I put a filter sock around the basket inside and it collects all the fine dirt and sand particles , reducing filter cleaning times.

Love it! This is perfect for my Zodiac G3. Actually it should fit any standard sized pool cleaner hose. Picks up leaves and such before they reach the filter.
Best I have used Tried a cheaper one, it broke after a couple of months. Should have stuck with the original one. New one works fine.
