My mom had to go to a post-acute facility after a recent hospital stay & Parkinson's diagnosis. I toured both SandRidge and another, more recently updated, facility in Tempe. While SandRidge is clearly an older facility & will benefit greatly from their planned renovations, the staff and their overall pleasant attitude sold me on it. When I was told my my case manager in Santa Fe, New Mexico that I had been accepted to Sandridge Post Acute Rehabilitation Center in Mesa, Arizona of course I was very apprehensive in going and started reading the reviews posted. But like all things a person cannot judge a book by its cover. One must read the book and test the waters. It's not the fanciest care facility but it is clean, they have activities for residents the staff are incredibly supportive, attentive, quick to respond and caring. I appreciate all they do for our father. Thank you.
They have the cutest spirit director!!! Cooper is such a good dog to have around he makes all the residents day!

Great facility with great staff! Highly recommend for anyone looking in the Mesa area.
It is very difficult to speak with my brother. Once after two weeks, I was able to have an appointment to talk with him on Jan. 20, 2025. To date, 2/2/2025, the one phone for 109 patients goes to voice mail or is answered by other patients which share the phone. A nurse, once in 10 days, may call at 11pm with an update. It is the worst experience in Arizona healthcare. It is very daunting that people are forgotten and neglected.
Was placed there after hospital stay and then physical therapy stay. I was immune compromised but most of staff ignored the mask and gloves needed on to enter my room. Many times I was left lying in bed in my urine soaked bedding for an hour or more after ringing the call button. Ended up with bed sores due to this. Nights were the worse, under the cover of darkness terrible things happen. I have the worst complaint on Harriet aphelia I think this facility really needs to take more accountability. For the staffing an whole process this really is the worst company to apply at. I've been on the side of doing HR I've done interviews screenings. When you have an employee interested in working there just because you don't feel like the person beneficial.
