They damaged my brand new hardwood floors and when I filed a claim per their request they told me that I had to pay for the floors to be repaired first and then maybe they would consider my request for the claim after I repaired the floors. On the day of the move the driver solicited a tip and when I gave him one, which I would have anyway, he asked me "don't you have cash?".. I work for tips and would never say this. I’d advising staying away from this company. They do not practice good business ethics. I had a move scheduled 5/21/2019 at 9:30am. The movers did not show up till 9:58am and claimed they had the wrong address. They had a phone that they rushed me through signing the documents because of being behind schedule. I was moving into a high rise downtown and you have to reserve the elevator for moves and you’re only giving a block of time. Don't use this company! I used them based on a prior positive experience. On the second move, after careful instruction on how to move a valuable item, they seriously damaged a family heirloom that cannot be replaced. The heirloom is a solid piece, not fragile, and they had to drop it pretty badly to have been broken in multiple pieces. The movers were deceptive in hiding the damage under a blanket. A horrible experience, as during the move, Norma from the 3 Men Movers office called me in the midst of all the work and trying to coordinate the movers, and threaten to "stop" the move, as she thought it was raining, and when my demeanor became irritated at the thought of a stop in the middle of the move she said she didn't like the tone of my voice, as I sounded stressed.....REALLY??? Tried to charge me for expenses that I did not approve. They did not show the proper charges on the invoice, which was not provided to me until I requested it. It was painfully excruciating trying to deal with their deception.
