Our consult was with Lionel and it was a pleasure working with him on selecting our floors. Initially the project got off to a good start on time. Then there were issues. The carpet crew sanded all the paint off the wall corners in our hallway. Carelessly in a hurry to remove rolls of old carpet and replace 3 rooms of carpet. Today marks 1 month since 50 Floor ripped out my flooring and has not installed the new floor. Yes, ONE FULL MONTH OF WALKING ON SUB FLOOR (and not having my upstairs bathroom). If you are considering this company, this is your sign to get as far away from this company as possible. Here is my unfortunate (and unresolved) experience with them. So let me start by saying that. David T. had come out a couple weeks prior but with everything that's been going on personally it was impossible to make a commitment. David T has a laid back personality DEFINITELY NO PRESSURE sale... Upon return, I was concerned about him repeating himself but it was not an issue! As repeat customers of 50Floor for new installation, we were extremely pleased with the friendly service, knowledge, and patience from our sales manager, Lionel Batiste. He not only provided several options to fit our needs (dogs, kids, high traffic areas), but he was very helpful with choosing the color and style of the carpet. We will continue to use this company as we remodel our home.
First of all, my finished basement walls were smudged with black handprints...then my tile floors had streaks of black goo that I had to scrub off for an hour. Then I know they don't cover damage to baseboards, but I am now in the process of repainting all of them because they were badly marked up. I have had lots of carpeting installed throughout my life, but none like this. I can even see the seams, and the shedding of the carpet strands is unreal. UGH to this company!
