50 floor charged me over $8,000 for flooring. One year later, it is cracked in multiple places.  They blamed the manufacturer for poor quality and tried to file a claim with them. The manufacturer blamed them saying the cracks occurred due to poor installation. I have the letter from the manufacturer. It took 7 months of constantly calling them wasting my time to get it fixed. After 7 months, 50 floor is asking me to pay over $700 so they can fix the problem they caused but they are unwilling to replace the flooring so it wi... read more

 Very disappointed and unsatisfied with this company. Many miscommunications between the workers, the managers, and the salesperson. Was told the company would stain the baseboard strips if we bought the stain. Nope!  The worker told us his boss needed to pay him more if they wanted him to stain the wood. Who knew stain was like brown super glue?  Not me, so even after a literal hour of trying to get the stain off I’m still covered in it. Also, I’m not a business. After a nightmare installation. I've been trying to get 2 areas where the floors came loose. (Only 1 year old) Been trying for a month. Ebony doesn't return phone and emails along with her boss. A guy called me last week. Was stupid and believed him when he said they would be by today to fix. Called and texted him with NOTHING. I guess I'm going to have to call every day and hope this will help to get them to fix the floors as they are getting worse with each day. Rochelle Morris

I won't go into the NIGHTMARE of the installation of floors. A year later, on 9/24 I started calling the company to come and fix 2 floor boards. I left multiple messages/emails with Ebony. She never responded to me and then called her boss. A guy finally called me back on 10-14 and I trusted him stating someone would come today to fix them. 50 floor’s workmanship, business practices, and communication are so incredibly terrible that I would advise any homeowner to run FAR away rather than doing business with 50 Floor. I am sharing our experience to warn fellow homeowners. Their national manager- Dana Mason as well as the SCG branch manager- Broc Stradley, do not care about appearance or quality workmanship and 50 floor installation warranty is entirely worthless. The flooring is beautiful, however, the molding is not professional in several areas. The technician came back yesterday to finish the molding which was never installed, however, the appearance in his cuts were poorly done. My neighbor had wood flooring installed, and her finished floor is beautiful throughout the entire job, to include all molding that done. I am not asking for any refund, just that they come back and install the molding more professional than once it currently looks like. Regina Jett
