Flexibility! We love it that it is so easy to do anything. Need a number in Australia? Done. Need to swap out a physical phone for another one? Done. Need a hunt group for inbound calls? Done. Technical support is always helpful and they work hard to make sure we are happy. Finally, we love it that 8x8 is constantly upgrading features and services behind the scenes and we get to enjoy these new capabilities now. If we had a dedicated phone switch we could never do these things. Thanks 8x8!
The ability to access calls away from the office and the clients doesn't know the difference. Very intuitive to use.
8X8 has the best customer service representatives that I have encountered. They are not only eager to help with the problem at hand, but they ask and really go out of their way to answer any other questions. We love the control that we have and the automatic forwarding in the event of internet failure was a life saver when the Router we had went down during a busy work day. 7 hours later, the boss was still relaxed in that he knew the calls were still getting through. I am very happy that we have 8x8 on our side now!
I was with a previous carrier that was not compatible with my internet provider. It was very difficult to deal with not having phones working properly when I was opening a new business. I called around for new providers and 8X8 was the most understanding with working with the provider and getting the equipment needed to work. The service. VoIP is VoIP. Verizon gives it, comcast gives it 8x8 gives it. But where I have said dozens of times is how much I love the 8x8 service. Their call centers are staffed with knowledgeable people who are easy to understand. They may use scripts but I can't tell. I never have to fight to be escalated if the problem is beyond the person I am talking to, they suggest it. I get call backs and confirmations on everything working. I enjoy having seamless access to our in office phone system while I'm out in the field. Using the iPhone app as well as the web interface (when at a customer's site with poor cell service) has proven critical to delivering the level of support our customers have come to expect from our company.
Because old habits die hard, it was important to know that the basic user experience was going to stay the same when using desk phones keeping the high level of familiarity when we signed on with Packet8 10 years ago.
