This is one of the better storage places I've used because not only is it enclosed, the floors are sturdy and the overall building is well kept. I didn't see any critter nor traces of them anywhere in the building. The elevators worked extremely well with all the heavy oak furniture we put in them. The u.s. no air conditioning but it seems nice and dry inside. They have a great security system and the entire time they're open, someone is there to assist you with any needs you may have. Getting storage in San Diego is such a grind, it was difficult for us to find storage for our 1800 sq ft house but we gave A1 our storage requirements and we got notified whenever there was a unit coming available within our time frame. Fermin at this location was awesome. We realized we needed more storage than the website suggested (will get to that later)and we were able to get one right next to it for a better deal than the first unit. So far this place is great. The only complaint I have is that I am on the second floor and the weather has been very hot lately... There is no windows,no air flow, and no air conditioning. This makes it almost unbearable when you're moving a load in or out of your unit.

Can't believe the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere here. Found out that a portion of the monies spent here will go to charity. Even better huh?!?! Fermin was very pleasant and gets an A+ for customer service. Had candies on the counter. Loved that!! Would definitely use this facility again.

This is the second time my girlfriend and I have rented a storage unit from this location. Furman was extremely helpful and always a pleasure toDeal with. After our first rental almost went to auction and we saved it there at the very last minute we found ourselves needing another unit the following year. We really like this place. We rented 12 yrs ago and then again in the last couple of months. We added 2 more units from moving all our stuff!!! The place is clean, efficient, fast, and the office workers are very friendly and helpful.
