DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I Hired them to move me yesterday 6/26/23 and it rained and they still charged me for the time they didn’t move my property. I called and Heather informed me that they still charge customers because they’re men are still on site whether they are working or not, which this is not disclosed prior to the move. Unprofessional, dishonest and disrespectful to the elderly. This company took advantage of my elderly aunt overcharging her $240. for a total bill of $600. to move 10 pieces of furniture and 23 small/medium boxes. Calls to owners Jill and Kevin have been unresponsive to rude and belligerent customer service. Do not recommend.
RecommendedThey showed up the morning of my move and told me that I didn’t pack correctly and that they couldn’t move 75% of my stuff. They failed to communicate their packing requirements ahead of time with me. They literally told me their packing requirements when they showed up to move me. If they needed things to be a specific way, then I should have received an email or phone call with their packing requirements / day of checklist. ***WARNING*** THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL MOVING COMPANY! STAY AWAY!!! The process started out “ok” Amanda in customer service was so friendly I immediately booked with them. When the movers arrived they did not give the courtesy “on the way call” as explained. They sent a man in his late 60’s/70’s he passed out and took a nap on my floor. I moved 2/13/21... the two men moving me were very nice but I do not feel they were experienced at all. I actually used this company because of the reviews! They showed up on time... friendly... I explained how hard it was to move my brand new sofa in, and they mentioned they’d use moving blankets to get it out. All they did was cover it with clear wrap. My brand new sofa was damaged.
