Airoom did a great job on remodelling our two bathrooms. We have an old house so it was a complicated project and we were very impressed with the experience that Marv Warner had, the design ideas of Gina Bon and the professionalism of Tom Schneiderwind who oversaw all the subcontractors and completed the project. We are thinking about another project and would use Airoom again.
We recently finished a major project with Airoom. We did a total remodel (down to the studs) of our kitchen, added a mudroom, updated a powder room and installed wood floors on the entire first floor. Certainly an ambitious undertaking. Sarah at Airoom was able to create a design for remodeling our kitchen and bathroom which incorporated an existing laundry chute which we wanted to maintain as well as align with our desire to keep the style relatively period to our home. Airoom completed two large projects for us. Our first project primarily encompassed our home’s entire exterior, including the addition of two dormers on the second floor, a portico over the entry door, new siding, upgrading and replacing all windows, modifying front and back exterior, and a full renovation of the detached garage. With a big remodeling project, I had two goals: (1) I didn't want to be chasing the contractors around, hoping they would show up and ultimately finish the project on time; and (2) I didn't want to be in litigation when we were finished. In 2013, we worked with Airoom to build an addition on our historic home. The process included the demolition of a flat-roofed, 1940s porch that had been converted to 10 x 13 family room, a large deck built in the 1980s, and a tree. Airoom worked with us to design a 20 x 20 family room and full bath. All plans had to be approved by the City of Elgin, as we live in a historic district.
