RecommendedThese guys came to my restaurant on the corner of Hyde and Bush promising to finish an electrical installation in one day. They worked until 8 or 9pm, they looked exhausted, but they finished the project as promised. I was impressed by the old-school kind of approach to work, especially after having a number of not so pleasant experiences with other contractors. I can recommend the crew of Aleco Electric anytime.

Ridiculous pricing quoted me $7000 to replace my circuit breaker that they said had to be replaced during their $130 estimate. called out another company the next day so said i needed one breaker not the whole panel and it was $400. This company is a rip off

one and a half hours late with no phone call as to your being late is not OK. and charging $350 to install a small bathroom light fixture is NOT A SENIOR DISCOUNT. how about my description? senior grifting !

We set up an appointment with this company and we’re given a window of time for the appointment. The technician arrived early and not at the scheduled time given. We contacted the office and were given a new appointment and window of time. Again the technician arrived earlier than time scheduled. Both times there was no communication from the company as to their schedule change. They lack customer service on the communication level. So I called Aleco because my Tesla said my 240V outlet overheats during charging. The guy shows up and tells me: (1) Tesla chargers don't measure temperature, they measure resistance. Totally untrue. They measure temperature. (2) He tells me I have the wrong cabling and circuit breaker (40 Amps), and I need 50 Amps. Also totally untrue. 40 Amps is standard for a 240V outlet, and Teslas pull a max of 32 Amps when charging. Note that the cabling doesn't get hot. The receptacle does. (3) He tells me... read more

If I could give them negative stars, I would rate them negative five. First, I scheduled an appointment to repair my unit, which had no power. They showed up the same day I called, which seemed promising. However, upon arrival, the technician could diagnose the issue but not repair it. The person on the phone never mentioned that they only do estimates first and then reschedule for the actual repair—meanwhile, my unit had no power. Aleco Electric seemed very professional and sent me an estimate after sending them several pictures and description of what seemed to be not a really complicated connection of garage conduit, drilling holes on each side of the garage door for outside coach lights that I will provide.
