First off, let me say that Aleco was very quick and responsive to our needs for an estimate. (We had several plugs that had stopped working). They charged much less to come out than other companies. And Brian, the tech, was super friendly. That's the good. ... They looked at our plugs and said they were loose and it would be $800 (or so) to replace them. They attempt to increase their sales of service by trying to scare seniors with pictures that have no bearing on the repair needed. Their work is overpriced -- they charged me $20 per foot for 10 feet of 3/4 inch conduit. They charged me for 60 new circuit breakers that were NOT needed just to, as the guy said, "Just to cover the company in case an old one went bad the next day".

We explained that we needed immediate, emergency assistance and were provided with an appointment with a "specialist" nearly a week out. We were without power due to snow damage to our service entrance mast for nearly two weeks. I made it quite clear that what was needed was emergency repair, not an estimate for a new panel. The "specialist" who showed up for the estimate was not prepared to do any work, emergency or otherwise. They tore up our electrical system and undid many of the switches. Then just left. wires sticking out of electrical boxes blue tape all over the walls with secret codes in black felt pen, it is awful! Just look at the pictures! Bad company to let into your Home!
