I appreciate Dr. Gorbonos' straight forward approach and the way he explained the diagnosis of my cancer, then recommending that the mass on my right kidney be robotically removed. I felt that my care was in excellent hands.
Dr. Gordon's has been great through out this ordeal. He is a great Dr. He shows that he cares about his patients.
Dr. Gorbonos was my 2nd opinion. The first doctor I consulted recommended a more radical surgery that concerned me. I wanted to fight to save my diseased kidney and Dr. Gorbonos felt he had the skill and I felt his confidence. A patient puts a tremendous amount of trust in his doctor and I followed my gut instinct. My outcome was very positive. I am very fortunate to have surrounded myself with a good doctor and a good hospital. I am doubly fortunate to have strong family and friend support.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Gorbonos. He communicated very thuroughly and clearly with every explanation. He always took the time to make sure I understood what I was being told and answered any question I had.
Dr. Gorbonos is thoughtful, caring and friendly. At my first appointment I had two pages of questions and he answered all of them. His calm demeanor and thoroughness, was comforting. I'm so glad he was my doctor.
After getting an MRI he ordered, I have tried contacting him several times to no avail waiting 3 weeks to get results and schedule a biopsy. I will find another urologist one with a sense of urgency and compassion.
