It's been a while since we've been to Alexander's. The food is not as good, Our friend had fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese as an appetizer; it's the only thing I tasted that I would recommend. The shrimp and grits were so-so. The Snapper was in a soupy sauce of beans and kale that desperately needed seasoning, and the snapper was not remarkable. Very good food and service. It was our anniversary and the staff went of their way to say happy anniversary and brought us champagne.
