Gave Alexander’s another try since it’s my sisters favorite restaurant and she was visiting the island. We had a group of 4 and everyone was very happy with our girls night out dinner at Alexander’s. Our dining experience was what we have come to know Alexander’s for - great food and wonderful service. My sister had chicken, our other 2 ladies had prime rib which was cooked perfectly and I had the Steak Frites which was excellent. Dinner and service was fabulous. However I found the restaurant too cold and I couldn’t wait to eat my dinner and go outside to warm up.

Food was slightly above average. Lobster tail way overcooked / dry. Specialty Salad had melon that lacked flavor. Chef / cook should be tasting this himself/herself prior to serving or decide to present a different salad that evening. Overall, not bad but they need to tighten some of these mistakes up. This is supposed to be a fairly high end dining experience.
