Have been to Alexander’s many times over decades. It’s a fine restaurant but it was a bit off this time. Mostly the service was ... perfunctory. Overall, just okay and you’re not paying a “just okay” price here. Going to chalk it up to COVID weirdness but cmon Alexander’s. You can do better. When all this is over we’ll be back to see if you do.
Pretty good if you’re trying to drive back to your place in palmetto dunes a little tipsy!!!
This was our first visit to Alexander’s. We went to the early bird special before 5:45. Items of choice available for $20 per person. We liked this very much. It was an 8 oz prime rib which was more than enough food. When they place my husbands meal in front of him he commented “ This might be my new favorite restaurant “. The wait staff was very good, professional, nice seating in view of the lagoon. Yes we would recommend and yes we will be back.
First time I’ve eaten fried green tomatoes. I just may return to Hilton Head just to have another order of these. Wish I could order Uber-Eats to Boston.
Service was excellent and food even better - great place!
