We were extremely pleased with our dinner at Alexander's. We had been disappointed at multiple restaurants during our stay at Hilton Head and had resigned ourselves to having only bad-to-mediocre meals. We were very pleased and surprised at the excellent meal we had at Alexander's! The crab bisque soup course was fabulous. The steak and truffle fries entree was equally satisfying. Food and service were great, but the woman at the front was simply as rude as she could be. I had mistakenly booked a table for four when needed to be five. You literally would’ve thought that I asked to change the reservation to 20 people. She was disgusted, sighed and was just as unpleasant as she could be. As opposed to saying, “we will take care of this don’t worry about it…”she made us feel like we should just leave. She needs to go.  Oh, there were about five empty tables right near us. Totally unnecessary. 
The salad special was very small this time, and one of the entrees was smaller than usual. Also there was a very noisy group seated near us making it difficult to talk. Was disappointing.
