The restaurant does not have the same atmosphere that the former owner created. The early bird prime rib my wife and I each ordered was not so prime. The old menu had delicious stuffed flounder on it, the new menu does not have this dish. We have eaten at Alexander's many times during out twice yearly visits to HHI during the past 30 years but we will look elsewhere for a place to eat when we return to HHI in September.

Order Catch of the Day Alexander's Restaurant & Wine Bar is a Romantic, Casual Fine Dining restaurant on the Lagoon in Palmetto Dunes. Outstanding dinner at Alexander’s. We took advantage of their early bird special and all 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The choices, while limited, were varied enough so that there was something that appealed to each of us. The wait staff was accommodating and attentive.
