Really good meal and experience. Waitress was wonderful. Only con was it was too cold
It was my husband's and my 10th anniversary, but they didn't even wish us a Happy Anniversary despite my noting it in our Open Table reservation. I also had to change the time of our dinner to 5:45 from 6:30 in order for us to be able to attend a show afterwards. Apparently, changing the time of our dinner to 5:45 did not qualify me for 200 points on Open Table. Why??? A little quiet, in an odd way, no music and all you could hear was the clink of silverware, give the place a little more atmosphere . Food was great. Waiter was knowledgeable and polite, but a little standoffish. Would recommend to friends and will be back.
This place is one of my new favorite restaurants. The crab soup is the best I've ever had. The shrimp and grits entree is also very good. The calamari appetizer is one of the best on Hilton Head Island. Also, the location is great with superior water views. I look forward to visiting Alexander's again next year.
